Scarlet waks up slowly "bloodwing?" her voice craked

With a glare that could disintegrate an elephant, Bloodwing paced around the medicine den, his claws digging into the hard wood and leaving long, scraping indentations. The darkness of the medicine den entertained his darkest thoughts, and he found himself staring at the two guards at the entrance way, mind working double-time. He shook his head, and continued his forlorn steps in and out of the darkness.

Suddenly, he heard Scarlet's voice.

With a sigh of relief, Bloodwing jogged over to Scarlet's side, examining her injuries critically before attempting to respond. "Scarlet? Can you hear me?"

"Thank you," Bloodwing said coolly, giving a mock-bow to the guards before retreating into the den. At the sight of the battle spurs, he froze, frowning, and glanced back over his shoulder. The apprentice had gone, and with him, the reason for this feat of weaponry. With a shrug, he tucked them under his wing, out of sight of the guards.

"Here, it's probably caustic, but, eh, it's water," he smiled, putting the container to Scarlet's beak.
