"That's it?" Ambersong ignored Scarlet's tone. "No explanation why we were almost killed in the middle of your flock, or why they let us go without so much as a fight?"

"Guess what--we're stuck without a clan," he looked over at Scarlet, "or a flock," his gaze returned to his daughter, "and we're going to have to put up with each other. So you'd better suck up and pretend like we're old pals," with that, he struck off into the forest, fuming.

Scarlet was off by herself, anger burn in her that BrownLeaf would dare remind her of what her father did

Darkpaw, Brightflower, Mallowtail and Silverpelt watched them from the trees "Look what we have here" Darkpaw sneered "The mighty SunFlock leader abandoning her own Flock, oh why am I not surprised?"

Silverpelt smirked, his silvery feathers shining in the moonlight "I guess Brightflower won the bet then, she didn't think she'd last two moons as leader!"

Brightflower grinned as Mallowtail howled with laughter.

Mallowtail held onto the branch of the tree, howling with laughted. Darkpaw and Brightflower soon joined in.
