*°Hell as White as Snow°* (A Role Play)

(Cool I will get things going in the cave group! Yah I am so excited this is going to pick back up I was worried it died. )

Nora woke slowly, the cave was bitter cold, although at least it was sheltered from the wind. The fire had died sometime during the night. As she sat up she remembered the conversations from the night before, about them all being from different times. It had been a crazy night that was for sure. They had only had a handful of blankets so they had opted to share them equally to conserve body warmth. She had forgotten who she had fallen asleep next to and nudged them awake as she stood and stretched.

( :plbb who wants to be my cuddle buddy from the night before? )

After Nora stretched she went back over to check and see if her blanket buddy had woken up yet. She nudged him again, remembering that she had shared her blanket with Nigel. "Hey Nigel, its morning." She shook him again, She noticed movement and saw that Janette was also getting up. "Good morning, did you sleep well? Don't suppose you can start a fire? Gjoran isn't up yet and he hasn't taught me how to make one from scratch yet." Nora asked Janette hoping the woman knew how to start a fire because she hadn't learned how to do that yet.

Janette slowly crept out from under the blanket, not wanting to yet wake Madeleine. She made her way over to Nora before saying anything aloud. "Yeah, I think I can make a decent fire," she said, shrugging lightly. "There's still firewood from last night that I can use. Then maybe Ian, when he gets up, will go find some more."

(Ok, so I'll start with a new day, although my character will still be with Gar. Everyone can begin by waking up, if you like :D)
Jade awoke slowly, the bitter air tempting her to continue laying in the bed of snow; but she knew that would give her momentary contentment before death. Lifting her stiff limbs from the the ground, she inched closer to Dierk's sleeping form. "Wake up!" She called urgently, her numb hands feeling nothing as she shook his shoulders.

Dierk immediately woke up at Jade's voice, lifting his head. His military training from the past was always keeping him alert, even in sleep.
He looked around uncertainly, slightly hoping that he was back in his home, back with the great Führer he used to serve so loyally. But no. He was still here, in this icy wasteland.

"Ja? Was ist es?" He asked quietly, drowsy from sleep and cold and forgetting to switch to English. His hands which pinned his body as he sat up were pink, feeling frozen, much like the rest of his body, and his throat was unbearably dry and rough.

(Aya and Thomas are alone at the moment now, right? Just want to make sure I can start out with them my own way without somebody else right now.)

Overlooking his untranslatable language, Jade struggled to pull Dierk forward onto his feet. "Get up!" She commanded with authority. "If you stay on the ground any longer you'll freeze to death."

Given the fact that Jade couldn't lift Dierk off the ground and onto his feet, he took it upon himself to stand and release his arms from her cold grip.

"Alright. I am up, I am up." He said tiredly, shivering slightly. He looked around at the cold and vast land.
"I see the weather has not changed in this place. We need to do something, we cannot survive much longer like this."

As Thomas tried to stay awake, weaker than ever, Aya decided that this was her cue to leave. He was fine, she had confirmed that. Now he had to fend for himself. Besides, he probably wouldn't even notice she had gone at the moment, he was too "out of it."

Slowly stepping back, she sideways-walked away from the situation as Thomas attempted to rub the ice away from the broken lenses of his glasses.

She had noticed the smoke of a fire in the distance for quite a while, so she quickly and quietly headed over to the location, hoping that there was a significant number of survivors in that area.

Aya looked around this ominous terrain. It seemed so foreboding, yet with all of the snow it was blindingly bright.

Dark, empty houses surrounded her. They were nearly buried with snow, and showed no signs of any inhabitants. Some had pink bikes and decorated balls obviously for children in their yards, while some had swings that slowly swayed from side to side in the wind.

It was odd to think that people used to live here. There used to be civilization. What time was this? Where was this?
