So I'm 3 weeks into owning my first lot of chooks! Ive got 3 peckin bantams. (Tilley Lola & George)
They are settling in well and I've already had 4 eggs in 5 days from tilley. I still have lots to learn however so far so good.
Few things I need to tackle... Any advice would be great
1) quick easy ways to clean out coop.
2) How to get chooks n cats to get along
3) how to get George used to being handled (smallest and biggest wimp)

You should look at two threads for ideas:
"got sand you should"
and "poop board convert thread."

Cats will sometimes go after smaller chickens and of course chicks. I have seen it with my own eyes. They don't tend to bother the full size hens.

To get your chickens to love you- treats are the answer!!!
