Ok I will move this discussion over here about my character and James. You have to give me a plausible reason for why she would work with James and willingly accept something like that from him. cause I agree it could be really cool to tie it in but that changes kind of the backstory of my character a bit, especially as she distrusts Apple a lot.

Oh. I didn't get that bit.

Okay, nobody panic. Um... uh...

Oh, how 'bout he lied to her? Used one of those disgusting mechanisms I mentioned earlier? Why he gave it to her would depend upon how her going crazy lines up with Anasis going rogue. Was it about the same time? Because if it were, James have lost all of his employees and needed someone he could trust with it. Someone who didn't trust technology, so that Anasis would have trouble finding her?

Lol your funny. Sorry I was gone for so long had to go to the doctor then the pharmacy busy evening. So Alexa has always been a bit eccentric, but she really lost it when the iFriends went crazy. That was when she shut herself away, pretty much quit her job and avoided all technology like the plague. So how does this sound. James knew things were going bad, he knew that the iFriends were going to break away from Apple so in a last ditch attempt he hid this technology in a small rock and decided to hide it somewhere as backup if he was proved right. So he disguised himself and put it in place for Alexa to find it. She finds said rock, has no idea what is in it, or who it had belonged too but picks it up and takes it with her. He knows it will be safe because it is with the last person anyone would think to look for. And she for whatever reason when she has her break develops Felicity as her "friend" and believes that since she "appeared" around the same time as the rock that that must be where she lives. So James knows Alexa but she doesn't know him. We can say he set up the phone thing so he could contact her and that someone was supposed to pass this information along to her but it never happened, which would explain why she didn't answer. Sound good? That way you can tie her in but it doesn't really affect too much of her story.
