ʻOumuamua

What do you all think of the interstellar object ʻOumuamua? They're not sure what it is, it accelerated non-gravatationally, but there was no apparent cause for the acceleration. Avi Loeb published a paper saying that it could have been an alien solar sail, and there have been a lot of news articles about that. I think it's unlikely that it's a piece of alien technology, but I don't think that explanation can be entirely ruled out, and I am concerned as to what the implications of such a discovery would be, in regards to The Great Filter.
