Kate stood up, and climbed higher into the tree. There was a birds nest in the higher branches, and Kate wanted to see if there were any eggs inside.

Sage shook himself like a dog and transformed back into a werewolf trotting back to camp.

Kate peeked over the side of the nest. No eggs. Only chicks. Her ears drooped, and she sat on a branch next to the nest, looking ahead of her.
