Kate spun around. "No," she said sharply, turning into a wolf and dashing off.

(Oh and BTW for the story, you could do a mystery one where your main character is at a park or something and he/she meets a boy/girl that saves the main character from a fire or something. Afterwards the main character goes to find the boy/girl and discovers that he/she died 40 years ago. Just a suggestion.)
