Kate sat down. She took a smooth rock in her hand, and carved a "K" in it with her dagger. Suddenly she looked closely and saw small cracks that looks like a "S" and a heart... She shook her head, putting the thought out of her head. Stupid idea. It would never happen, she thought to herself, and glanced up at Sage. You're an omega!!! said a voice in her head. Right. Yeah, she replied, and threw the stone a far ways away.

Sage's ears perked up as the stone flung towards him.
 
Kate sprang up to her feet. She murmured something about climbing a tree, and hurried away. She indeed did climb a tree, and lay there, her tail flicking as she watched the sun rise.

Kate turned the dagger around, observing it carefully. There seemed to be some sort of language on it.... maybe runes... "Yeah, it is pretty shiny," she admitted. "And sharp," she added as she ran her finger along the blade, making a narrow slice. She quickly pulled her hand away, dropping the dagger on her chest. Blood trickled down her arm, but she rubbed it away.
