Kate looked at her feet, and murmured something about being hungry. She turned, walking away.

Shadow appeared "Hey Sage you'll never guess what the girls were saying about you yesterday." He smiled nearing Sage "And what would that be?" Sage asked curiously.

Kate melted into the shadows, listening to what Shadow was going to tell to Sage. She remained dead quiet.

"So they were talking about how much of a womanizer you are, and they think they are just your play things." Shadow said then smirked at Kate.

Kate glared at Shadow, and sprinted away as a wolf. She sped right into a town without even knowing it. No one was up, and she stood, panting.

"Hey Winter after this do you want to go for a walk?" He smiled snatching another piece.

"And that's not all.." Shadow said dully his fun was gone.

Kate trotted to a nearby house, and sat down. She was still breathing hard.
