‼️Mild Sour Crop + Respiratory infection‼️

What do I treat first?

Loosing weight, lethargic, wobbly, mouth breathing. She still is passing food through her system.

I have an antibiotic I can start her on but I read that could make sour crop so I’m not sure what to do at this point. She’s definitely at a point where I have to do something before it’s too late.

Should I do the antibiotic and hope she makes a turn around or do the treatment for sour crop (plain yogurt) and water first? Her crop is not massive, just a little squishy.

To note: If I massage her crop I can hear some gurgling noises coming from her mouth.

Sorry to hear she is not doing well. It sounds like she is really sick. Is a vet visit an option?

We have zero vets within 100 miles of us that’ll see chickens unfortunately.
Been ill for about a week. I just got antibiotics yesterday. I’m not sure what to do

What antibiotics and how much and how often are you giving it?

Poor thing sounds like she is in bad shape. Was she vaccinated for Marek's disease and have you brought any new birds home in the last few months?

We had her euthanized. She couldn't stand and wasn't improving. None were vaccinated but this one started with respiratory. I think the weakness is coming from not eating much.

I have amoxicillin on hand. No new birds
