Suno walked close to Eva, who was sleeping against a tree trunk, with the dog on guard. The dog looked up at him, but before he could bark, Suno took his machete and cleaved the poor dogs head in half. As the dog lay on the ground shaking in death, Eva rolled over in her sleep, completely unaware. Suno walked close, being sure not to step on anything loud. He laid his hand on her head and whispered, "Pomreks." The girl jumped up and screamed, her eyes blood red with no pupils or irises. She disappeared.

Alton jumped out of the tree with his cloak flaring in the wind and landed a foot away from Suno. " Yes, perhaps I am " he said as he rapped the black cloak around his body.
