I'm just doing a time-only but there are like 20 more people before me. I'm not even riding my own horse, I'm riding my mom's stallion.

Quarter Horse. He is 17 years old and VERY out of shape. He has won about $7,000 in barrels and roping and he has taught my mom, aunt, big sister, and now me how to barrel race. He used to have a LOT of get-up-and-go but now he just wants to sleep. He rolled when I was warming him up and when he was tied to the trailer! Then again… I kinda pulled him out of retirement… …so I don't blame him…
