~◊~Thereby Hangs a Tail – RP~◊~

Echo saw a fish drift forward. She slowly leaned over and her jaws flashed out catching it up. She trotted over to Ripple and waited for him to catch something.
Several small fish swam around his paws, he waited until just the right moment, and snatched one out of the water, he shook it to keep it stunned, then looked to Echo, satisfied with his catch.

"It was a Grizzly about 5 or so miles north of here. My assumption is it is hungry and me and the Pups smelled like an easy meal." Aurora said.

Lynx began to jump. "After that big Bear came daddy disappeared. I'm going to find him too." (he do want understand death yet)

Silver still crouched down but she had come out and was sitting with her mother.

Cloud rotated her ears a little. "Grizzlies." she muttered.

Aurora gazed at the two. What were they deciding? "Lynx come sit down"

Lynx let out a whimper at being scolded but obeyed.

"let's go "she said through the fish.

Ripple nodded and followed her back.

Cloud turned to Stone. "Well? What do you think?"
Stone nodded, they would make a good addition to the pack, that is, if Aurora wanted to join.

Dalonige looked at the three hunters then at the doe "Good job you three, this doe will feed us for at least a few suns.(Days but in wolf terms)

Bramble nodded happily "Thank you alpha." He said, ears and tail low in submission.

Rimy adopted the same submissive stance as Bramble when the alphas approached, respectful of them, they had earned it and more from all in their pack.

Virga looked over their fine work, very pleased, yet, she couldn't help but worry about when they would next find game, and how far they might have to travail to find it. But she didn't let her worry show, as alphas, it was Dalonige and her responsibility to be like the roots of an evergreen, to be steady and strong alphas, without that, the pack would fall.

Dalonige sniffed the doe, checking for any signs of disease, once he was sure it wasn't a hazard, he took a bite, savoring it's tender, gamey meat.
