~◊~Thereby Hangs a Tail – RP~◊~

Oak didn't have any idea why they shouldn't just go ahead an eat it, but he usually left those decisions to others.

Wind thought for a moment, it would feed the pack for a while, but the fact that an animal hadn't killed it or eaten it yet led her to believe otherwise "Disease, we should probably stay away from it." She concluded matter-of-factly, and shook her pelt vigorously.

"That's what I thought." Pyra said, her eyes narrowed as she started to walk away from the dead elk and the others, "I already marked, we should get going, and hope that another pack takes the elk back to their camp for an easy meal." She ended in a pleasant tone, though there was a hint of malice in the cutthroat statement.

Wind snorted, and glanced back at the pestilent corpse for a moment, then continued on "C'mon, let's look for some prey on the way back." She said, and set off.

Oak nodded in agreement, he wasn't one to argue with others, and who knows? They might find some decent prey after all.

"Sounds good to me." Pyra replied, she wasn't the type to turn down an opportunity to hunt, she enjoyed it very much.

Hail nodded as he followed, "I used to be that way..." He sighed, "One day, he will realize the importance of the packs structure, that or he'll die alone."

Thaw frowned in thought as he followed, "Packs are really important, and I mean really, really important. That wolf should have begged you to let him join Breezevale, alpha."

Blaze wagged her tail once in amusement. "Thank you, Thaw, but I do not need flattery." Then turning to Hail, she said, "I was once a Loner as well. It was great... for a while." She turned and set her sharp green eyes ahead once more.

Aurora nodded. "Yes."

Silver looked around "I think it's that way" she said darting off.

Lynx scampered back. He ran into the nursery falling in and doing a summersault before landing in front of the Wolves. "Silver........... Eagle.......... Left............ Camp. He heaved through breathes worried for his sister.

" Same as you" Echo said laying down beside him.

Wind stalked the long grasses, searching for any signs of prey, she couldn't smell much, except for the ever present smell of heather, a stale loner scent, and soimething else... it was the unmistakable scent of prey, a deer to be exact. She looked back to the others "I smell deer, let's go" She woofed.

Snow nodded slowly, as soon as she heard Lynx, she sprang up "WHAT?!" She yelped

Eagle, once again followed Silver.

Ripple put his head back down, sighing softly as she laid down.
