Cinder nodded. She wagged her tail back. "I've never seen one of these before." She said curiously. Se lay in on the ground and stared at it.

Blaze wagged her tail twice in amusement. "That's a beaver." She said. "They normally live in Silentwater."

Cloud curled up in her den with her nose buried in her tail to ward off the morning chill. One eye slowly opened, revealing it's stunning blue hue. She rose stiffly and stretched.

Cinder cocked her head to one side. She wagged her tail also. "Was I supposed to kill it?" She then asked worriedly.

Blaze shook her head. "No, it's all right. It was on our territory, so it was fair game." Tipping her head in thought, Blaze said, "Although, if we would let the beavers stay, they would build a dam. Then we would have a pond, and probably more game in the future..." Her voice trailed off thoughtfully.

Blaze rotated her ears thoughtfully. "Yes. Beavers are almost never by themselves. There should be more around." She said.

Cinder nodded. "I'll leave the river alone." She said back. "Want to patrol the borders?" Cinder asked, her tail wagging.

"Thank you." Blaze said to Cinder. "And I think that I will patrol the border just after sunset." She said, picking up a foreleg and chewing at a burr that had stuck to her paw.
