Mark looked back to the water again, waiting for the fish to settle and come back around. When they did he tried again, this time keeping his balance and hitting the fish. He held up the spear proudly and looked to her with a grin.

Joe looked up at her.

Shasta took her knife and started to cut the fish into strips.

Shasta put the strips on the rack and then stepped back. "Not at the moment. Now, we wait."
