Elijah awoke early in the morning. Yawning and opening his eyes, he looked around. He jumped in shocked and cursed when he saw Caroline lying on the floor. (You remember that Caroline was his girlfriend before they went to Dexi.) He walked up to touch her. Caroline jumped in shock and whipped out her knife, relaxing when she saw Elijah. "You scared me to death." She said, breathing hard. Elijah looked at her.

"What are you doing here?" Elijah asked, feeling guarded. Last time he saw Caroline, she was with someone else.

"Needing a place to stay, and someone to trust me." Caroline replied simply. "I am so glad I found you."

"So... you aren't with that guy anymore?" Elijah asked.

Caroline shrugged. "I suppose. I ran away from him and his ex."

Elijah nodded slowly, hope rising in him. "Seriously?"

Caroline smiled. "Seriously."

Tyler frowned at his ankle. He was up against a tree and used it to help him get up. Tyler began to limp back to camp.

Maya looked around then trotted into the den.

Mark finished with the wood, setting it to dry out then looking around. He shifted and went to find some more wood. They would need to stock up on that also.
