Will Jasper protect his girls?

Well, Jasper protects his ladies with his life. He was about to take on a hawk for them until I saw his heroic act and put them in the coop. He didnt want to go in because he wanted to protect his girlies.

Does he put his girls first?

Jasper never eats any treats or food until his girls are done. If he finds food, he will call them over and let them eat first. Jasper is such a sweetie.

How did Jasper get to where he is today?

Jasper was skinny and underfed. He had a bloody comb, scaly leg mites and his feathers were in poor condition. That's how he looked when I rescued him. It's hard to imagine that with proper nutriton and care, he could ever look as beautiful as he does now.

Should Jasper be Rooster of the Year?

YES!
