Dustin cocked an ear, listening, smiling.
"What do you hear?" She asked.

(I forgot, but are they going to become mates?)
(Yes indeed.)

"I dunno. Let's go check it out," Dustin murmured, and began padding in the direction of the strange sound.
(Okay. What is the sound? XD)

Dawn followed happily. She looked up at the sky, noticing it was going to snow.

(Can there be a big snow storm?)

(You'll see ;D )

Dustin shivered a little as the snow began beating down on them. They arrived at a road. Not a road built by nature. No, it was a road built by man. Dustin stepped out onto it.
Dawn's fur began to stand on one end. "People," Growled.

The ground beneath his paws was solid and dark. He shuddered, his hackles raised. The noise began to near them.
Dawn put her paws on the road. She shivered as they pressed against the cold ground. The noise was like a million footsteps becoming near.

Amber sat at her den entrance eating her rabbit. She looked to her pups and wandered how she was going to keep them safe as a loner. She turned to look to the forest again, quietly watching until her pups woke and started crying for food. She moved inside, licking them and letting them eat.

( She's a hothead. )

Tawny was muttering darkly under her breath, too, a few miles away in her new home. However, she wasn't muttering about Rylee's problems; she was muttering about the silvery fish in the creek who always managed to escape her paws.
A few yards off, her first-born pup, Garret, was trying his luck at fishing. Tawny watched in amazement as his jaws snapped around a fin and flipped the fish above his muzzle, causing it to flop to the ground.
"Good job, honey," Tawny called. Garret raised his little head in pride, and dug into his prize.

About a half an hour later, the white-gray-tan she-wolf led her pups towards the den, where she had prepared the nest with tender moss and pheasant feathers. Curling around the three black-silver pups, she was asleep way before they were.

Rylee had decided to pursue her. He padded ahead, paw-step by paw-step, following the strong, fresh scent. Finally, he noticed the remains of a fish, along with the scent of his pups. She was here. Rylee silently padded towards the den, his eyes glowing.

Night had fallen, and the moon shined brightly, like a nightlight in a darkened room.

Rylee stood in front of the entrance of the den, his eyes glowing vibrantly. He stared at Tawny as she slept.
