Ellie's horse trotted into dark woods. Ellie kept an arrow fitted in her bow. A wolf howled, and a pair of red eyes flickered in the trail in front of her. Ellie's horse reared.

Jewel could hear a howl, she shuddered in fear, but she could sense that somebody was in trouble. She started to gallop in their direction.

Ellie fired her arrow, and the wolf dropped, dead. More eyes appeared.

"part of it is, but I live in the cave system under the mountains. There are several secret ways to get in. From the lake, and a few high in the mountains. And in case you've heard the rumors, I'm not gonna eat you." she said, smiling.
