creature: Sirenia, basically a scary flesh eating singing mermaid.
Appearance: waist length, straight, thick white hair, and very pale skin with dainty, beautiful features and large, almond shaped silver eyes framed by thick black lashes. When on land, she is a relatively short, dainty young (about 18) looking girl, with a pretty, seductive figure. She usually wears a white shift dress and goes barefoot. When underwater, she has three gills on each side of her neck and a long, flexible fish tail from the waist down covered in silvery blue scales. The scales come up her stomach and fan out to cover her chest. She is usually nocturnal, and is bioluminescent, her entire form glowing silvery blue green. When she "shifts", She grows long black, sharp nails and long, razor sharp pointed teeth. Her eyes turn completely black and a row of spikes appear along her spine and down her tail, and she can flick the ones on her tail. They are somewhat poisonus, causing temporary paralysis. Her singing can cause a trance like state, lulling her victims into false security.
