She resurfaced, her long tail trailing behind her, her silvery blue scales flashing. Her silver eyes were slotted like a cats, and there were three gills on each side of her neck.

"You look so cool!" Cath complimented.

"thanks!" she said, her voice changed. It sounded addictive now, soothing, like she was talking and singing all at once. "you sure you don't wanna swim? The diving is great!" she said.

"I don't know how remember!" Cath replied hard hearing her from up where she was.

"I can teach you!" she said, doing a lazy flip in the water, her elegant tail like moonlight on crustal as it cut through the water, her long, white hair spreading out around her like a veil.

"I-I guess," Cath said.
