Lovely hen, but she doesn't look like an Australorp.. I have never seen an Australorp who looked like that.. With the copper neck.. Could she be a Black Copper Maran?

Thanks! Maybe she is! I'm still new to the chicken world. I bought her at the hardware store last spring and they claimed she was an Australorp... But when she was a baby she didn't look like the Black Copper Maran. Possibly a mix??

Foghorn is the neighbor hood rooster. Has lived threw pox, fox, dog and hawk attacks. Sires beautiful blue farmyard chicks. Oh and one neighbor that would love to make mexician chicken soup out of him...Very nice boy has never attacked any body...
