Butterscotch snuck through the trees. Her heart clenched and she felt sick and then she saw it. A whip of red fur pass her. She shudders, haunting memories flew through her head. It sprang at her, convinced she could take it Butterscotch held up the knife and sliced it to meet the fox. But the knife missed. Butterscotch suddenly realised, she was doing this because she was being stupid. “Oh oops, I’m going to die aren’t I” she whispered. She snatched up the dagger and plunged it into the fox killing it. It scratched her and bit her. So she collapsed. (@PollyGirl21 can Lolly find her?)

Thorns raced over and picked up Butterscotch, since he was out looking for the fox, he felt guilty for not noticing her. "I'll get you home." He picked up Butterscotch and carried her slowly to the castle.
