Dove nodded and helped up on the bridge. Gazing out at the evening sky, he looked back at Roslyn. "So, how is everyone at your castle? Not much has been heard lately from your queen as of late. Is something amiss?"

Roslyn's face darkened as if a cloud had covered her. "I'm sorry Dove" she whispered. "Mother would never forgive me if I told". The princess laughed bitterly "If my parents would just ask for help everything would be fine". She turned to Dove her feathers shinning brilliantly as the moonlight struck them.
