( Okay. Good luck! )
Diablo ignored the kick and snaked further towards her. He reached out, and touched noses gently with her foal.
Diablo suddenly raised his head, aroused from his nap. He stretched, and jogged out of the cave to the one where his mares were sleeping. He peeked in. "Hi" he said softly.
"Now, do you understand? He loves you all, I know." said Prancer then smiled at the mares hoping they understood then she walked to Diablo and rubbed his neck "I think I helped a little" she said "I have been wanting to ask you... do you like me?"
Rhia pinned her ears at the sight of Diablo, standing protectively in front of her group. She kept a close eye on the stallion.
Diablo ignored Prancer for the moment and stared back at Rhia. He snorted and took a step closer to her, his head down.
Rhia pushed her ears even further back and squealed, kicking her front leg out a bit. She did not want the stud to come any closer to her and her group.
Vasch watched Yishka, Silent Hill, and the foal, the motions of his ears constantly fluctuating back and forth to reflect his thinking. At first he believed he had run into another nomad's territory without realizing it, but after figuring out that the other stud and mare were separate, he was puzzled. He whinnied loudly, to further acknowledge their presences, and to gather Ebony's attention.
Ebony's slender head raised from grazing and she turned her blue eyes on him. Her ears were tipped forward in curiosity,
Vasch nickered, backing up a little to stand closer to Ebony. "Something weird's going on..." he whispered. "There's a mare off in the distance and a foal ran past, and I could have sworn I saw or at least smelled a stud."
Ebony;s ears flicked around. "Hmm... we didn't come into a territory.. did we?"
"I... I thought about that, but no, I don't think we did, the mare and stallion don't really seem to be together," he said, narrowing his eyes into the distance.
"H-hay look," Ebony tipped her ears forward. "The stallion is leaving."
Yishka whinnied and pranced around. She spotted Vasch again and galloped over.(the foal isn't a separate character, by the way)
Prancer watched Diablo hoping all would go well. Prancer walked slowly behind him.Diablo ignored the kick and snaked further towards her. He reached out, and touched noses gently with her foal.

The little buckskin filly stood still, flicking her cropped tail back and forth in curiosity. But the encounter did not last long. Rhia squealed and screeched louder, pushing her way in front of Farah and giving Diablo a firm nip on the neck.

( Oh.)![]()
Vasch perked his ears and pranced a few steps closer to Yishka. He flagged his tail a bit in interest. (Since Yishka is a foal/filly still I just call her that sometimes)
Yishka's ears pointed forward, swiveling in interest. She trotted a few steps closer, just enough to stretch her small head out and sniff Vasch's withers. She pulled away suddenly and whinnied feebly, the whites of her eyes showing around her dark brown irises. ( Ahhhh, I see. )
Vasch nickered gently, arching his neck and running his muzzle down her shoulder. He swiveled his ears around a bit as he listened to her, moving his head over to her side and flicking his tail. He grunted a little, anticipating, before raising his head to look into her eyes. Yishka stumbled back, and whinnied weakly. She flicked her tail, and arched her neck. "I-I'm Yishka" she managed to squeak out to the big stallion. The red stud took a few steps back, shaking out his mane with a snort and keeping his head low again. "And I'm Vasch. Where did you come from?" he questioned. "U-Uh... I don't know exactly" she said, becoming more comforted by the presence of the big stallion. "North of here", she finished, suddenly remembering where she had come from. "A big herd. With many mares, a few foals like me, and a big bold stallion. I was driven out." She shuddered, remembering her first night alone. "Well, you're in the southern Steens mountains right now," he said. "I know the feeling of being driven out, it's happened to me a number of times. I had a very large herd not long ago, but my father came to take it..." Vasch paused for a second. "How about you stay with Ebony and I? It's fairly safe around this section of the plains." The filly's eyes widened. "You mean it?" She asked. "There are no bachelors around, really?" She shuddered, remembering her past, and not to pleasant, experiences with bachelors. "Not usually, no," he said. "There are more to the northeast being that the mane herds are there. Here it's fairly quiet, not as many horses frequent the area." Yishka grinned, her fearfulness fading away. "I'd like to stay with you and Ebony!" She squealed, running in circles around him. She bucked in happiness of not having to spend another long night alone and vulnerable. "Wonderful," he said, turning to watch her. "If she's okay with it, Ebony can show you around our little stretch of land." "Are you always this serious?" She teased, halting to a stop. Vasch paused, simply staring at the other. It was long before he would actually speak again. "...What do you mean?" Ebony arched her neck, and touched Vasch's shoulder. Her white tipped ears flicked forward to ear the filly's reply. Yishka looked at both of them, her eyes big. "Nothing, Vasch, I was just fooling." She said cautiously. He blinked and shook out his mane, forgetting the statement all together. There was yet another pause. "Are you thirsty? We could always lead you down to the watering hole." "Uh-uh, ya - I mean yes. Lead the way."
He beckoned over with his neck and began to head down a foliage-covered slope, the sound of a babbling creek not too far off into the distance. After a few minutes, a little oasis-like area was in view, complete with a narrow river, trees, and tall grasses.
