With out saying a work he sat up and took a drink of the cool water.

Spice walked over to a near by apple tree and at one then looked out over the mountains.

Heliotrope stood and neighed to Spice.

Sugar smiled then went and grazed.

Spice neighed back and ate another apple. Knight walked over and joined her.

Blood finished and laid his head on the ground. He was getting weaker.

Sugar found an apple tree and returned with several apples for him.

Heliotrope trotted over.

Shadow and Beauty looked at the dogs getting nearer and nodded to River.

Spice looked over at Heliotrope and smiled, then she returned to her apple. "Did you guys sleep good?" she asked. "I slept fine." Knight said.

Blood was happy for the apples but didn't let her see and ate them. "I guess your kind of bright for a mare."he said not looking at her.
