Spice walked to where the trees started thinning and started into a gallop. The sun had already gone behind the mountains and the sky was black. As Spice ran down the hill fireflies flew up from under her feet.

The shadow stood still for a moment but then more joined it and they headed for Sugar. Blood got up and quickly started galloping towards Sugar.

"I say we should go after them but just us. The herd will be just fine here until we return. " Beauty said.
 
Sugar saw Blood sprinting over she jumped up she only saw a few black figures she sprinted as fast she could to Blood.

Heliotrope trotted after her jumping over a couple fallen logs on the way.

River wasn't sure she like that. "But we'll get caught."
 
"Not if we're careful and if it's just us there's so few of us that we will be hard to spot."Shadow said.

Blood bolted for the black shadow when suddenly a large black wolf jumped out of the bushes and bit down on Bloods neck.

Spice closed her eye's as she ran down the hill. The fireflies sparkled in the night. Spice ran to the bottom of the hill and galloped into some thick trees.

Sugar saw the wolf bite him although she was angry with him she just couldn't let him die.She sprinted over and kicked the wolf hard in the head repeatedly it surely would kill him.

Heliotrope followed through the sparkling little bugs.
 
"Are you sure?" Shadow asked.

Blood turned and saw more wolves running out of the trees at them. "Get out of here!!! NOW!!!!" Blood said firmly and ran at the wolves.

Spice quickly weaved through the thick trees she had known for years and ran into the next small clearing.
