This is Emily, the first i've ever had and a special needs girl- half a leg on one side and toes missing on the other- but she is quite a lady, and an ambasador to show how special these birds are, i am convinced somebody planted big bird personality in a little bantam size

Why is it that one is able to make it with these problems and others not a drastic don't?

I love this little guy I got my Grand daughter. Need to get some good pics of him yet.

Well, i got her from Gotgame, he saw her when he was getting some others- so if anyone would know he would- she is such a sweetheart- she went broody right after this and is raising a single duccle/cochin chick

When I first saw Modern Games (in a catalog, I think) I sobbed for at least two minutes straight. They scared me and I thought it was so sad that people had done that to them and made them stand so high and straight up!

I have some - but my camera is out of commission! If I get a new one before this contest ends, i'll enter. I have Lavender Moderns!

I have 6 standard modern BB red hens. I had a roo too but he got too aggressive and went to freezer camp. These hens are so funny, they run around like little roadrunners and are super curious - always the first to come see me when I sit on the deck. They turned out a lot prettier than I thought they would and one of them just laid her first egg this morning

When I'm back from my vacation, I'll post the judging results. Meanwhile I ask the other judges to read over the entrys and pick their favorites so we can eventually choose the winners.
