Luna guided his snout to it. "It's right here," she whispered, smiling at his effort.
He ate it weakly, "Thanks" he finally managed to say.
Luna looked at him worriedly. "Do you feel stronger?" she asked.
"I don't know" he said weakly, he didn't want to die, not like this.
"Don't go. Don't go where I can't follow," she whispered, and rubbed her cheek against his.
"I will try my best" he said trying to open his eyes.
Luna trotted away, and found a large ball of moss. She dipped it in the pond, and carried it back. It was soaking wet. "Here, drink," she gently, and lay it in front of Dudley's nose.
Dudley sniffed it and tried drinking some of it.
Luna nuzzled him, and lay down next to him.
"T-thanks" he managed to say.
The sun began to rise. Luna smiled, and limped off to find a herb.
Dudley tried to open his eyes again.
