⚠️HELP PLS ⚠️

When that happens watch out. They can be chilled. Try to monitor body temperature carefully at that point. Wouldn't hurt to check the heat lamp also.

Not going to lie to you... often when I had ducklings go faint in the water dishes they'd die of being chilled later.
Oh no okay thank you I have it under the lamp rn it’s currently 93 degrees but I’ll hold it closer

Overall it would be a good idea to attack this problem with extra nutrition at this point. you can do this without spending a lot of money. Try feeding them live nightcrawlers (VERY FUNNY ALSO), or from canned tuna fish. You can make them scrambled eggs with sugar in it also to give them a boost.
It doesn’t like staying on its side or stomach it tries to lay on its belly

You can play with a thermometer and try putting it at different distances between the bedding and where it is to check this. It’s also possible to get them to hot.
I have a thermometer I use it probably too much lol I am very careful with knowing their temp

Thank you toooo I was worried it was an organ and was thinking I might have to have my dad put it to rest but I’m glad it is solvable how long should it take to absorb the sac ???

Don’t hold your duckling any closer to the heat 93-90 is fine. Usually they absorb the yolk before hatch sometimes they don’t so in this case you just want to keep it from causing it to open up. Take some warmish water put it on the end of your finger and see if it will take some. It may not want to eat right off what are you going to feed it?take any water containers out it can get into.can you get a close up picture of its belly?
