Hello fellow chooks! Welcome to Distant Heros, the button quail roleplay! You may also call this roleplay X Marks The Spxt if you would like. This is my first roleplay thread, so I will get many things wrong. I have roleplayed before, but it has been a LOONG time!

A) By participating in this game, I promise that all BYC Rules will be followed and that I have read and understood the Role Play Rules that are in a sticky at the top of the Games forum.
B) I promise that all content is to be rated G and suitable for all ages.
C) I promise that there will be no swearing, cursing (including censoring by using symbols) or inappropriate adult sexual activity or innuendo. This extends to mating, breeding or innuendo in non-human characters as well.
D) I promise to treat others with respect and kindness as is the BYC way.
E) I promise not to post any material that is a violation of copyright. Basically this means: if you didn't create the content (like an image / picture) and don't have direct permission from the content creator to post it, then don't.

MY RULES:
No time changing! (EX: 20 years later, _____)
No being immortal, invincible, ect. That also means not to say *Heals self* Every time you get harmed.
Ask before you kill or badly wound which may lead to death.
Use () or {} or [] when talking out of character. (OOC)
Put [JOIN REQUEST] at the beginning of your join request!
No having headphones, ear buds, jackets, iphones, ect. This island has no technology whatsoever!
No cussing, even if it is like this: *******, ########, XXXXXXX, ect.
No inappropriate content. This will lead to you being reported to mods and kicked from roleplay for life! No exceptions!
No claiming characters from unopen slots.
Natural Colors Only! (I know button quail have blues and reds.)

A long time ago, (1801) there was an island. Nothing lived on it, and no human knew about it. Except a fisherman. The Button quail, Mountain Quail, Scaled Quail, Gambels quail,
Bobwhite quail, least weasel and hawk were endangered. (BUT- I know not really, but this is a FICTIONAL lore!) The fisherman decided what he would do. He went on a 20 year journey and eventually got all these animals. He took a final sail, and released them all on the island. He watched them fly and run off, he then went to sleep on the ground. He passed in his sleep.
These animals created clans and lived by the rule of the island. YOU are one of these animals! YOU ARE THE HERO!
