:lau My wife wouldn’t know where to get one.
Our second date was fleshing a bear hide she shot. We had bear fat and stuff everywhere. She tanned it and made a wall hanging all by herself.
Our anniversary was ten days elk hunting. Told the jeweler to quit bitching about it and just clean it when she took her ring in to get cleaned. Seems dried blood under stones is difficult to remove.
She’s my partner in crime.
She sounds like a wonderful, 24-carat gem of a woman. I'm happy for you both! ❤

I really like moose. But it is nearly impossible to get here anymore.

Elk is good, deer is edible. Ruffed Grouse is good. Squirrel is okay in small amounts. Beaver is surprisingly good, if it’s fresh. It like most meat goes gamey after it’s been out for a while.

Muskrat is a lot like squirrel but darker.

I have never eaten porcupine. I have killed them though for what they do to the trees and my dumb dogs. You would think they would learn after the first time and leave them alone.

I have never eaten at a strip club, but the older boys tell me everything tastes fishy. I think beaver is the only thing on the menu.

What do you prefer for eats above all else? Elk, beef, whitetail, lamb, porcine pleasures? Dare I ask, Dux? Smoked ducks, pot roasted ducks or duck poppers with large slices of peppers?

The Oryx, an antelope, has tickled and enticed my palate beyond compare. I've been told by those who have compared, that it approaches, if not surpasses elk in flavor. Once tried, the beef, while a staple and readily available, is lacking. I will enjoy a good beef steak occasionally. Mostly pig at home. We will always have fowl. I just don't enjoy beef. Buffalo, I've found tough and hard to chew. Unfortunately, they drowned it in some type of sauce, so it tasted like beef than anything else.

Also, out of curiosity, what is on the menu at the strip club? I'm not one of those who fries everything and calls it good.
Properly processed, aged and prepared, there is no reason that buffalo should be tough. Beefalo is said to be very good.
