Oh, phew... you had me a bit freaked for a second, there.


I thought that it was a Black Forest dessert of some kind! It looks delicious!
I do a lot of cooking... sweet and savory. I prefer baking, though -- especially cakes, because then I can decorate them to my heart's content. Candy making is something that I want to do more of... mostly I've made toffee, but I've also done chocolate truffles, fudge, and marshmallows.
... Okay, rant done.

Here we go talking about food 😂 Well I might as well join. Dogs are getting scrambled eggs with spinach and nutritional yeast for breakfast. The meat chickens are getting scrambled eggs as their last supper and the quail are getting scrambled eggs too. Layer chickens are getting a bunch of scraps with the eggs shells. They’ve already eaten their breakfast of layer feed.
I'd really like some mushrooms to go with my hype dude's music


Cindy better watch out. I'm not taking my Fitbit off today when I put on my bathing suit.

This time it means burn.
My maternal grandmother always burned her tomato soup cake. The recipe called for cooking it for an hour but recommended checking it at 45 minutes. She always left it in for the full hour and always burned it. I changed the recipe to say to leave it in for 45 minutes and it comes out perfect. That is except for the time that I accidentally grabbed the black pepper instead of the cinnamon. I tried to scoop it all back out but I obviously didn't manage to get it all. I had to toss that one and make a new one.

I really like it. I cut it up into pieces, foil wrap and freeze them. When I want a snack I can just grab a piece and eat it frozen. It does not freeze solid.

It is similar to a spice cake and it has real coffee in it.
