Get a job, get outside your usual world, volunteer, find things you would like to try, take a class - learn to knit/sew/crochet/cook/dance/yoga - not necessarily to meet someone, because I personally think being alone doesn't suck, but if meeting someone is on the list of things you'd like to do at least give yourself a chance.
