That makes three of us!I don't like crunchy peanut butter either.
Yeah, peanut butter is extremely difficult to stir!!! Of course I’m weak anyway but stillI don't like the all natural peanut butter. I want to, but it separates into oil and a kind of non-Newtonian liquid (like cornstarch and water but way more obstinate). If you leave it alone it either settles or if you tilt it, flows. When you try to stir the oil back in, or even take a spoonfull out, it suddenly comes to life and fights back. It's literally easier to stir thick concrete. Tahini is worse; almond "butter" is easier to scoop. And when you, against all odds, manage a spoonful, it's dry.
I like commercial peanut butter. I prefer smooth but either is fine. I like a bit on a slice of cheddar, an apple slice, or just a spoonful straight--and yes it's heavenly with honey.![]()

The non-hydrogenated kind. It’s great in theory and kind of wretched in practiceIt separates into oil?? What kind of peanut butter are you people eating? That sounds nasty.
I just throw peanuts into the blender for a while. I never have issues with it becoming oily. The non-hydrogenated kind![]()
The natural kind separates cause they don’t have the stuff in it to keep the oils together. It separates into oil?? What kind of peanut butter are you people eating? That sounds nasty.
