My neighbor called the other day, said her (gas) water heater didn't work. We had a power outage the night before, with wind too. I re-lit her pilot light for her....Problem solved, but she thought the hot water heater was connected to the electric grid. :thI love my neighbors!
You're a good neighbor. :hugs

Jaffar only poops on the scratch carpet next t to his pet bed. he doesn't poop very much at all anyways. I'm just very careful, not to feed him after midnight. :lau (Movie gremlins)
Haha don’t get him wet. I suppose that’s acceptable! I’m not judging, so dont-cha think I am. I have this gosling, a couple of them actually, that are especially friendly. I was just wondering about the poop patrol for house birds. I don’t plan on keeping it in the house, but for future times if one needs special care. I had a cat break into the gym (it’s a school gym with a concrete floor) where I grew out my birds, and it slaughtered 11 out of 14 of the bantams in there. I brought the survivors to the apartment and I could only handle the smell for a few days. I think they were smellier than the others we brooded. I didn’t seem bothered as much by any of the others we brooded. Here’s the friendly goslings, I can’t keep them in their pool. They stay in if I’m away doing stuff, but as soon as I come back they bail over the side. The other two are not as good at breaching the side yet. The other 4 geese did not do this, just one time I got up in the AM and they were sleeping under the table. That was the only time they bailed. Sorry for the novel. I like to chat.
One more thing, is Jafar your emotional support rooster you have mentioned? How did that come about? I’m curious.

I just noticed the other two geese in the background being jelly! Geese are my favorite. I can’t help it.

Don't get me wrong either, but maybe chicken poop from IA. just smells worse than CA. chicken poop? could it be the corn? (Ps. beautiful birds, in that pic)

Lurking.. I too need to know more about Jaffar.
What do you want to know about him? He's my newest addition, I bought him from a farm that promotes cock fighting. (He doesn't deserve that kind of life) He's gentile, kind, sweet, friendly (except to young kids) Loves his lady hens, sleeps in the house, watches YouTube videos with me. and so much more!
