Raptor the impacted crop PBR isn’t doing great this morning. My exotic vet is out of the state until Tuesday. Do I drive an hour away to see another one. ER visit starts at $144. I’m really torn.

Have you tried coconut oil liquid to get stuff moving? Then massage a bit. Worked for me before.

Yes you would. It is the only way you can get to the beach. Driving in Wyoming is not like driving in Texas. There are open roads where you see for miles.

I’m pretty sure Raptor may be one of my hens, so I’d really like to keep her around. I just know from vet experience that $144 in the door is only the beginning...

I don't have any experience with this so I really don't know what to tell you. Is impacted crop different than sour crop? Can you try to massage it and give olive oil or whatever is recommended? Would it loosen it up? I just don't know to be of any help. Sorry you and your poor chicken are going through this!
