Probably miles and miles of walking today plus me stupidly swimming out the almost the middle of a large pond

If you're spatchcocking then you cut the body on either side of the spine. That opens up the bird, makes it easier to disembowel, makes it easier to season and cook more evenly. I didn't do that. I was only talking about the skinning. I cut the skin along the breast-bone. For me, that makes it easier and neater to remove. That said, I usually pluck because I think the skin adds a lot to the flavor.

The ginger scuba-dived for something like 12 hours the other day. He's still hobbling like he's got a carrot up his bum.

Yes, pain. I'm sick of it. I have a surgery consultation in 3 weeks and I'm counting down the seconds.

To make it lie flat, you have to score lengthwise (not cut) along the inside of the keel bone. Then when you press it down (at least in chickens) it will lie fairly flat.

Thanks! My friends have been making me move so much hahah we don’t have a sticker yet so it’s a mile across the bridge and another mile back plus of course walking on the beach too. And then at the pond I was no longer afraid to go super deep since there were no sharks so I just kept going further and further out jus for kicks and next thing I know I’m in the middle they actually were like COME BACK! We don’t wanna have to call 911

And oh my gosh!!! I would be too!! I used to hobble after horseback riding lol
