Lol, fair point! I wondered if maybe she had tried it at a restaurant or something. That is the only way I ever tried quail...or elk...or duck

Not me, first I killed them and then I cooked them and ate them along with a lot of other things including some that weren't cooked.

My husband is in charge of meat cookery lol. He is a professional.

And there are some meat dishes I am comfortable cooking. But I eat a lot of vegetarian meals when I am on my own.
