Nothing wrong with a big proper mug, but ya gotta consider the ratio of tea to water no matter what size vessel you use.

That makes sense!! I don’t usually use any ratio. Just fill it. Although most say on the box for 8 oz of water and I’m pretty sure my mug is definitely more than that so maybe that’s part of it.
