I'm still the winner of the Golden Klutz award. I'm the only person I know who can say they sliced their wrist open on a toilet.
Are you all right? Well, you're still here now, but what happened, if I may ask?
The line "sliced their wrist open on a toilet " sounds so weird....
Seriously, though, I'm glad that you're okay!

Wow! @Nabiki how’d you manage to do that? I’m always injuring myself one way or another. I once tripped over a piece of twine and it left a large scar on my foot! :lau

Are Fitbits considered jewelry?

I haven't worn any in yeeeaarrss.
Maybe I should start.

I'm starting to sound like the dawg aren't I?
If you wear blingy bands like I do, they count.
What in the world were you doing?
I must know. :pop
It was 2AM, and the toilet wouldn't stop flushing. I took the lid off to fix it and dropped the lid. It broke, and a piece flew up and sliced across my wrist. I spent the next week reassuring people that I was fine and didn't need counseling.

So doing any of those things would be stuff then.

I know I'm going to sound like an old person, but I am, so it's okay. The best way to shed self-involvement is to go work at a hospital - emergency room, critical care, even regular old surgical floor where the vast majority of patients are there for elective surgery - you can read about stuff all you want, but when you are THERE when someone suddenly stops living, for any reason, when nurses and doctors and technicians of multiple specialties come running, and sometimes they get someone living again, with no drama, just 100% focus on trying to keep someone alive, you learn things that stay with you for life.

Less stressful? Take a class. In anything. New language, skill, craft, line of study. New knowledge of any stripe will always serve you well.

Rant over, cats just reminded me it's time for their dinner LOL.
I don’t think I’m cut out for work in a medical field.

Might take a class though. A language class might be fun. I did DuoLingo briefly but I think actually getting out and going to a real, actual class would be better. Need to sign up for a dog training course/school too. But most of those are online although some do have an in person component, like a local mentor. Even just online though I need to do it and get certified already so I can get started.

Seriously? Someone on this thread besides me wears jewelry, right? Right?! Bunch of nutters.
I wear some now and then. I used to wear a lot, but stopped wearing most of it when I started martial arts (too much trouble to take all of it off for practice) and stopped wearing even stud earrings when I started riding a motorcycle (they kept getting caught on my helmet).
