➡➡ Kiki Speak

Remember -- always carry something to fight with. I can unclip my fanny pack and whip it around, or I can bludgeon someone with my purse. Always carry something that you can use as a weapon. I also have lancets and pen needles in my purse.
I'd like to carry something like a knife, too, but I'm worried that it'd warrant unwanted attention or cause false alarms. I'll just stick to purses, fanny packs, small needles (hey, those things hurt), and brute strength.
Maybe I'm paranoid, but it's better to be safe than sorry. I'd rather be called paranoid than end up in the hospital because some creep assaulted me....
Does this sound defensive? I'm sorry if it does. Should not write posts at nearly two in the morning, I suppose.
I carry a knife. I figure it's a good deterrent, plus also useful for everyday needs such as cutting baling twine. Paranoid is simply another word for prepared ✌
This area is pretty safe thankfully and quiet, not really anyone out, but I should probably carry something to use. I actually used to carry my keys between my fingers when I’d walk to the car so I could stab someone with it but the new car is just a fob 😭😭😭

I'm 67 pages behind now & it's 01:16 CDT .... Flavors of hummus I've had/enjoyed:
Classic, red pepper, garlic, garlic & herb, spinach & artichoke, chocolate, chocolate & cherry, sarachi carrot, salsa & red pepper, Curry, Curry & salsa, three cheese & jalapeno, avacado & salsa.

So what flavor of "sweet hummus" did you have in mind anyway?
I had no idea there were so many!!! OMG!!!

I gotta try the chocolate and cherry :drool

I was mostly joking though because Kiki bought some Lemon Meringue Hummus a few months ago for something “sweet” and never ate it 😂🤣

It's ok! I didn't take it the wrong way I promise. It was definitely for the best. I was in a controlling relationship and I didn't realize it till it was too late. I'm sooo glad that the Lord intervened, and she stopped talking to me. It hurt at first, but I am sooo much better and freer because of it!
Oh wow that sounds terrible! Glad you got out of it. I’ve had a few terrible “friends” and it definitely sucks!!! :hugs
And then you cant go back and read over it years later.
:lau true!!!

I had no idea they could be so dangerous! but then again so are air bags and like you said, the alternative is usually being dead, probably by flying through the windshield, so better to wear it
Seat belts are not an option.
Put your damn seatbelt on every time you get in the car...as soon as you get into the car.

Eggs are in lockdown. We had a bunch of early quitters. 😢 For next year I want to make a nice cabinet incubator for lots of eggs. Like 100z. I’m sure the cats were sitting on the bator (even though they know it’s off limits) causing shaken egg syndrome. Anybody want some cats? I ride a rollercoaster of liking/disliking cats. I’m on the dislike part right meow. They are A-holes. Jk they are wonderful beings that test patience but golly would I like to nail them to the wall like a mount (I wouldn’t do that, only threaten)

Our Wally World is forty five minutes away so...
I think that’s my problem! There’s way too many stores around here. We have a bunch right down the street, mostly just grocery stores, gas, banks, pharmacy, dollar store, etc. but also a discount type place a few other things, and then the big stores like Walmart, Petco, restaurants, etc. etc. are like 5-10 minutes away and the mall’s 5 minutes away too. And more stores the other direction about 15-20 minutes. I need to move to the middle of nowhere.
Less than 15 minutes here.
Wait really!? For some reason I pictured you in like the middle of nowhere. 😂🤣🙈

I do!!! I always do. It was just shocking they could cause injuries. :lau

But I’ve always been a seatbelt wearer and even more so now with this car because it literally will not shut up until I do it. 😂🤣:th

I've been told that local honey, as unprocessed as possible--esp minimally strained as, to get the bees' knees out but leave the pollen in--can help in dealing with local allergins. If you can find it at all, it'll be expensive, but ime you don't need a lot of it. A tsp or Tbsp will often make a big difference for me. I just figured I'd try it--no expectations one way or the other. For me, it seems effective.
Thank you!!! This is very useful!!! I’ll have to see if I can find some because I had actually heard the same but never looked into it. But knowing it’s effective for you, I may. Although I’m not sure I’d I’ll be able to. :( think most of the farmer’s markets and such got canceled. There was a guy down the street but I haven’t seen him lately.
