I’m not good at this lol
Choose or choose not, there is no try.
Yet, if you really grasp our best human trait, failure... Then you big picture understand that the brain builds on every honest failure to eventually reach success. The mind is amazing. F.E.A.R. just gets in the way.

That makes sense!! I’m gonna start working on this today. No better time than now I suppose. :D

Finally took the cat to the groomer’s this morning. Have to pick her up this afternoon probably. The groomer is by herself today.

Felt bad it took so long but they didn’t have any earlier appointments when I called. The earliest they could fit her in was in two weeks away so I just took it. She seems fine though. Hopefully this will help her feel better. :fl

I interrupt the fun and games for a sad announcement - feel free to ignore and go on with your merriment. :)

Sayonara obachan. You will be missed. This picture is 15 years old, but really shows her kind and generous heart.

I am so sorry, Nabiki. What a stunning loss for you and your family. She looks like the sort of lady everyone falls in love with instantly. You will miss her terribly I know, but what joy, when you see her again, whole and well and full of life.

I remember my mother like this:

This is the lady I will see until I see her again--not the very sad remnants I kissed goodbye early this year. Grief is great, but joy will come in the morning. :hugs

No, there was no water below me.
That happens a couple times a summer a few miles from where I live. Kids and young adults go to the picnic grounds, get drunk, jump off the cliff (the boys--to impress the girls) and splat! No. Dam. Water. (or more likely precious little--just enough to goad the poor sillies on). Then the volunteer fire dept gets to head over and fish out whatever remnants they can find...

But I'm guessing you were rappelling or hang gliding or zip-lining or bungee jumping or some other adventure much more sensible than dashing one's adolescent self against the distant rocks below in the pursuit of
sex
--er--I mean true love...

There are lots of other ways to get an adrenaline rush. A friend of mine crawled into a cave where a mountain lion was. He had a revolver and stick matches for light. He forget that he really needed earplugs. He collected the mountain lion and nearly went deaf.
He's lucky he didn't kill himself shooting in a solid rock "room/tunnel" like that. (Forget the lion... :lau) One of those huge hunting revolvers, I suppose? I always think those look comical, but I would hesitate to shoot one. My hands and wrists might not be up to that...
