I had to go out and check out a noise in the barn/coop. A raven got lost inside, but I flushed her out. That barn is for chickens only!

I think that my duck hen, Annabelle, is thinking about it also. She was sitting today and I had to (gently) shoo her off of it so I could muck out their coop and put fresh bedding down. She puffed up when she saw me and was making her whiny high pitched grunt sounds. And then once she was off of the nest and I was cleaning it out, she kept coming by and was whining. She didn't like me being near her nest. And she wasn't happy when she found the eggs gone either. I will be sure to collect eggs as soon as I can because I don't want any more ducky babies. She was a good momma tho. My chicken, Daisy, is still sitting like a good mom-to-be. I want to candle but then again I don't want to disturb her/them. I am 100% sure they are fertile. That's not an issue. It's just that getting to them is kind of awkward. She's on Day 9 or 10.
