They sell phone cards at our gas stations.
Not too long ago my mom used to use them with her house phone because it was long distance for her to call her children.
I think the calling cards would charge her like $0.02 a minute or something...
I'll ask her if she remembers the exact ones she used to use.

Another totally random story...

A woman at my dentist's office has children in the military. She has one daughter that went Army, another daughter that went Navy and a son that just signed up for Marines. She jokes that she needs to have another child so he/she could go in the Air Force lol. :lol:She almost has all of the bases covered. Anyway, the past couple times that I was up there we talked about my son etc. She gave me a FB site to check out that is a support group kind of thing and they will help me be in contact with whatever specific group he is in. That way once phone calls start happening people are letting everyone know to expect it and it kind of keeps you in the know what is going on (as much as you can be which isn't a whole bunch but still) and whatnot. I know I will be grateful for that connection, ya know? 🥰 Well, she mentioned that since the calls are coming long distance, that I should get him a "phone card". I feel like such a dunce but I don't have a clue what I would need to get. I mean, we have Verizon cell phones. We don't have like AT&T or whatever else is out there for landlines. So I really feel like I should know what to do but I'm a bit confused. I guess I could look at all of the various gift card things the next time that I am at the store. Maybe they will have something or I could figure it out? Anyone have any ideas? :idunno
Easy. Just add his cell phone to your existing plan. They usually have a discount as well. Good luck.

Help. My Ameraucana just wont get off my shoulder. I thought she outgrew that behavior three years ago. Yes I have had her in here with me this whole time. So what, she's not a chicken. She's a feathered puppy (at heart) :love
Sorry, I would come help if I could but I can’t move either :barnie My bearded dragon is snuggled against my neck sleeping:love
