You don't taste your sausage while seasoning it? How do you know you got the spices correct?

Raw meat is still food. Food poisoning only lasts a few days. Bad sausage can last months.

(Giggles) Y'a-know slide rules are what we're used to design and build the SR-71 & U-2.

Yes the RAM sticks are VERY obsolete. From Pre-pentium 1 boards & I have about half a dozen left when these break. Sizes are 1-16MB iirc

If being made from raw pork, tasting it raw can lead to death due to trichinosis. Home raised pork is not guaranteed to be trichinosis free..
