Everywhere that people feed squirrels, they become a problem. You can always find stories about squirrels coming into houses demanding to be fed.

"Someone " would sit on the front porch in wait for them with a pellet gun. I had to camouflage it with strips of white hospital tape so it would blend in with the porch rails.

Next neighborhood over last year the squirrels became so brazen they would run up and jump on you if you didn't feed them. On this street people know about 'squirrel sauce piquante'. Keeps them more tame.

When someone illegally relocated some town squirrels out here, I didn't sit and wait for them. I shot them whenever I happened to see them. I don't have the top glass pane in my storm door so that I can shoot from inside the house whether it be with a rifle or camera.
