We played outside today too. The mini learned how to drive a friend's toy. A toy he will be using to make green dollars this summer.

Oh my goodness, did the poor dummy lose part of his ear? Aww.

Part of both ears. One has a giant oblong hole down the middle of it that you can’t see in this pic. The other is mostly just gone.

The SDHS found her mangled when she was a tiny, baby bun. They think she must’ve got stuck in an electric fence. They healed her ears up the best they could & we adopted her.

Active and pigging out. She is the youngest thing in the brooder by a couple weeks, but she's the biggest.

I got diaper crystals in my eye. (Don’t ask.) I’ve flushed my eye out, but they’re still there.

This is bad.

Got eggs on the first. 4 under a broody & the rest in the incubator.

One in the incubator hatched. All 4 under the broody hatched today. Thermometers are reading 100dF. Have another 4 pipped but the broody is done. I figured it would be closer.

Regardless, 5 hatched. Bunch to go.

I’m just amazed.
